Goodrich Projects acted as Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and Planning Supervisor on this hybrid facility for Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. Founded on bored pile foundations ‘traditional’ methods of construction have been combined with major off-site prefabrication to meet the time and budget constraints of this project. The four storey steel framed structure provides 45 en suite study/bedrooms in fully-factory-fitted accommodation pods, alongside 4,300 sq ft of library space – together with facilities for administration and the disabled.
