Goodrich appointed by Travis Perkins to construct new branch
Goodrich has been appointed by Builders’ Merchant giants, Travis Perkins, as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor on the design and construction of a new 8,000ft2 Travis Branch Building, located on Bolton and Bury Road, Radcliffe. Also included in these works is alteration of the existing exterior storage together with the mezzanine and external works.
The building is being reconstructed after a fire in 2008. The fire caused major structural damage to the warehouse and office areas requiring demolition of the entire building.Works are due to start on site in November 2010, with completion prior to Easter 2011.
Once completed the site will provide a Brick Centre, Brick Matching Service, Drainage Centre, Estimating Services, Landscaping Centre, Lintel Centre and Roof Tile Centre.
