DELIVERED ON TIME, ON BUDGET AND TO A VERY HIGH STANDARD
Goodrich are delighted to announce the completion of the construction of a 170,000 sq ft warehouse facility with integral two storey offices for Hampton Brook Estates which is located in Bromborough, Wirral.
Goodrich acted as Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, CDM Co-ordinator and BREEAM Assessor on this distribution facility which completed in December 2011. The scheme has also achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
The 18.75m high facility has fully racked VNA aisles and incorporates semi-automated wire guided MHE and Fork Lift Trucks.
The scheme comprises 172m of 2.8m diameter round drainage pipes installed with dual pumped chamber for the storm water attenuation and discharge off site.
Under the contract Goodrich were instructed by Great Bear to undertake their full fit-out requirements compliant for their operational start in the 2012 New Year.
The fit-out works included 23,376 fully installed palletized racking VNA throughout, sprinkler protection system, to include in rack protection and gas suppression system. The warehouse M&E installations throughout are inclusive of energy efficient lighting controls for all areas; with CCTV & Intruder Alarm systems internally and externally, with barrier and intercom controls.
