New Bletchley Leisure Centre Scoops First Prize!
The new Bletchley Leisure Centre, constructed by SDC for Milton Keynes Council scooped first prize in the BREEAM Bespoke category at Ecobuild in March 2010. “Bespoke” buildings are those that do not fit any of the standard BRE assessment profiles and are typically quite complex, multi-use projects.
Bill Gibbon was involved from an early stage of the development, working with SDC and their design team on the most effective strategy to achieve the required rating. Bill is pictured above (back row, third from right) with the project team and the BREEAM award.
